Fall Prevention/Regain Your Balance

Falling is the leading cause of injury among the 65+ age category, with one in four people potentially sustaining serious falls. The fear of falling becomes more common as people age, even among those who haven’t fallen. We’ll go over risk factors, and common causes of falls. We’ll also cover how balance is affected, along with ways to strengthen your balance.

Many older adults don’t sleep well, but getting enough sleep is crucial for you to stay healthy and alert. An ongoing lack of sleep (or poor-quality sleep) increases your risk of health problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, memory loss, and more. We’ll go over some common causes of poor sleep, along with tips to get better sleep.

Your wellbeing can be enhanced by understanding how your daily intake affects your physical and mental health, providing you the knowledge to live a healthier lifestyle. We’ll go over how eating the right foods along with proper hydration can optimize the health of your brain and body.
